The largest luxury travel online auction sponsored by Elite Travel International will once again take place in conjunction with CharityBuzz between October 12-26, including incredible stays at top hotels from Paris to Shanghai to the Amalfi Coast, Japan, Hawaii, California, Santa Fe, New York City. Thanks to Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Peninsula Hotels, Mandarin Hotels, Oetker Hotels, Delta Airlines, Crystal Cruises, St. Regis, Fairmont Hotels, Raffles Hotels, Dorchester Hotels, and so many others, this luxury travel auction will afford opportunities to bid on phenomenal trips in the name of raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
On Maui alone, multiple hotels including Napili Kai Beach, Montage Kapalua Resort, Fairmont Kea Lani, and The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua are hosting fundraising parties and offering opportunities during the month at their spas and restaurants to contribute to the “Play for PINK” festivities.
On October 13, Montage Kapalua will host a “Pau for Pink” Cocktail Party at its Cane & Canoe Bar with unique pink Pau cocktails, and 10% of the total proceeds going to benefit PFP/BCRF. The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua will feature special spa treatments and cocktails on site throughout October, with a percentage of the proceeds going to PFP/BCRF.
Napili Kai Beach Resort is turning completely pink for the month and offering a special “Play for PINK Package” through October 28 that includes a 3rd night free in an ocean view studio or suite, a bottle of rosé wine and pink golf balls. When booked through Elite Travel International or by calling the hotel directly to request the PFP package, a 15% donation will be made to BCRF. On Friday October 28, a “Putting for Pink” party takes place from 4:30-7pm with putting, pink pupu and rosé wines. Of the $25 entry fee, a $10 donation will be made to BCRF. The hotel’s restaurant will feature dedicated “pink” menu items and cocktails, and the spa will feature a unique pink-themed treatment; a percentage of proceeds will also go to BCRF.
At Fairmont Kea Lani, a host of fundraising opportunities will be taking place through October poolside and in the restaurants. From sparkling rosé wine and strawberry local salads, to hibiscus mimosas and dragonfruit ice cream, the pink treats will be served aplenty…with donations from each purchase going to BCRF. On Friday evening October 21, a “Perfect Pair” Luana Experience takes place. A portion of each $49 ticket will also be donated to BCRF.
At Four Seasons Resort Lanai, guests who book the “Play for PINK” unlimited Golf “Plus” Package (on new stays through October 31) will receive accommodations, unlimited golf for two people on the Manele Golf Course and use of GPS enabled golf cart. $100 will be donated by the hotel for each revenue night booked (this is in addition to 10% of the room revenue being donated by Elite Travel when booked through ETI). $5 will also be donated to Play for PINK for each “Play for PINK” cocktail purchased at the Sports Bar and Views during October. Additional amenities include a $100 spa credit and daily breakfast for two.
On the mainland, Peninsula Hotels in Chicago, Beverly Hills and New York are turning pink with a series of fundraisers to benefit PFP/BCRF thanks to a partnership forged by Elite Travel International. Elite Travel International is a proud supporter of and fundraiser for Play for P.I.N.K. and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Last year’s inaugural Play for P.I.N.K Kapalua event was launched on Maui by Stacy Small in conjunction with sponsors including Delta Airlines, Montage Hotels, Ritz-Carlton, Starwood Hotels, Napili Kai and Kapalua Resort, and it included celebrity attendees such as The Bachelor’s Ben Flajnik and Hollywood star Isabella Furhman. It successfully raised over $250,000 to fund a dedicated breast cancer researcher for one year. Future events will take place on Maui this October, more details coming soon!
